As I stated in my last post, this is the first project I have done that I really want POD. Any useful tips for those with experience?

Glad my post on D&D Essentials inspired to you to do this.
As for POD, the key is to have the PDF in the correct format. What software are you generating the PDF with?
I am using an older version of Adobe InDesign.
OK so you use the PDF/X-1a:2001 profile if the interior is Black and White.
If the interior is Color, you use the above but make the bleed .125" on everything but the inside. This is found Marks and Bleeds.
The cover is done per the instruction in the OBS FAQ. You will make a new project with indesign and download a cover template from Lightning Source. There make your cover and export it as its own PDF as you will be uploading it separately. THe template has copious instructions.
Don't hesitate to ask me questions about the process.
Sorry for forgetting about this, you will find the profile screen when you export the PDF. It pops up after you give a file name.
Great job. I have read through both the D&D Essentials Kit and your work, and honestly, I prefer yours. Maybe it is the clear leanings toward old school style and layout, but whatever it is, it is working for me.
Wow. Thank you!
Hey Dave are you on mewe? Matt jackson just posted a awesome pic, he printed off ba5ic and is going to run it this weekend.

Looks good in print!
That makes me more happy than you know...
Of course, now the question has to be asked will we someday see an Expert option for Ba5ic, so we can have TWO B/X lines on our shelves!
In the class level boxes, the word adventures is missing the "T".
Thanks for the catch!
Mighty sweet stuff, FrDave! Very compact!
I'm gonna have to have a look at this, looks like something that might go well with my one of my new project (I was thinking of capping the max level at lvl9).
I'll report later on, then !
Keep up the good work !
I'm gonna have to read through this... As someone who loves B/X, and has a lot of gripes with D&D 5e, this seems right up my alley. :O
I don't know the rules for 5th, so maybe I'm just dim. But on page 22 under "short rest" in the beginning of line six it reads "Every long rest, a charecter has a number of Healing Dice equal to their level".
I think it should say short rest, right?
Janich, thanks. This refers to the idea that there is a limiter on how many times the character can use a short rest to heal. Thus, you must take a long rest after using all the Healing Dice.
