Both are sci-fis that dip a bit into philosophy, psychology, and ethics to varying degrees. Psycho-Pass does get a bit gory at a few points, and Ergo Proxy can get pretty heady (so much so that I don't recommend it to those without a grounding in philosophy or theology). I also recommend House of Five Leaves, which is just a good show with beautiful art that's slow paced, character focused, and a good break from the general anime fare.<br /><br />K would make an interesting premise for a superhero game though.
